We offer a managed Rails hosting service to you so you don’t have to learn all the hard lessons we did. This way, you can just focus on making great applications. We’ll make sure they run.

All plans also have a $150 setup fee. This setup fee includes getting your application up and running, as well as putting together a custom Capistrano recipe in case you want to be able to deploy updates yourself. We also create an account for you on our modified version of Webistrano that lets you restart your applications and push out updates.
What You Get
Each managed hosting plans include the following:- Custom Capistrano recipe.
- Webistrano access to restart your applications and push out deployments.
- MySQL database running on dedicated MySQL servers, manageable by SSH or MySQL Quick Admin.
- Optional SSH and SFTP access.
- Application runs in a virtual “container” for enhanced security and resource allocation. We use OpenVZ.
- All physical servers are at least 2 x Quad Core Xeons with 8GB-16GB RAM, SA-SCSI RAID-1 (mirrored) hot-swap drives and dual redundant power supplies.
- Gigabit uplinks to the Internet.
- Optional DNS hosting.
- 24/7 automated application monitoring.
- Automated snapshot-style backups.
- Subversion repository available upon request, complete with a Warehouse account to manage it.
- Technically savvy customers can choose whether to use Apache+Mongrel, Nginx+Mongrel or our preferred solution, Litespeed+LSAPI.
Clustered solutions for large applications are available upon consultation.
